My friend Hank is starting up an insurance brokerage. I think he’s going to be more useful than the average agent because he’s been an insurance adjuster and seen what happens when you do try and use your insurance.
So I’m helping him setup a website and get going. Check it out at HLInsuranceServices.com . Ask him your burning insurance questions for some free advice. Think of him as “Dear Abbey” for insurance issues.

In the broadest sense, marketing touches on all parts of a business…
- developing new products
- creating advertising
- making sales
- providing customer service
So marketing are the parts of a business that involve people, and tends to be a work in progress. There’s more freedom to be creative, and search for the next big thing. Plus, it brings in the money. Operations, finance and other departments involve processes, which are more straight forward I think.
I’d like to use this blog to track my thoughts about marketing and it’s relationship to economics, psychology and technology.
And in the interest of marketing, I now get to babble about random things I like…. because I admire their mad mad marketing skills which have somehow convinced me that I will be happier if I buy their product.
Let’s chat, nameless readers on the internet, interwebs, digital pipes, social community, etc etc.
